YEAR 3 & YEAR 4

The Creation story from Genesis – consider its importance and relevance to Christians, creation as a gift and wonder about the nature of the Giver.

Session starts with everyone together. Brief introduction to the session with an interactive story and Power Point presentation. In small groups pupils will hear and ‘watch’ the Story of Creation told in the style of Godly Play and then discuss some wondering questions. Pupils respond to what they have heard/ discussed using art/craft/words. Something that is meaningful to them which they may wish to share with the group at the end of the session. The session is concluded all together where it is discussed how Christians believe they should look after God’s gift.
